Deadwood Removal – Removal of dead, dying, diseased, crowded, and weakly attached branches from the crown of the tree.

Elevating Canopy – Removal of lower branches from a tree in order to provide clearance for buildings, vehicles, pedestrians, and views.

Crown Reduction – Reduce the size, height or spread of a tree by pruning back the leaders and branch terminal to the lateral branches.

Tree removal is a dangerous task and should always be performed by experienced professionals. Regan Tree Service has the proper equipment and expertise to remove any tree in any situation. Most importantly, our employees are covered under the Workers Compensation Act and we are a fully insured and licensed company. While many people may be reluctant to proceed with removal of a tree, (particularly if the tree has been part of your property for a long time) we can help you determine the best course of action.

A tree should be removed if it is:

• Dead or dying due to insect, disease or physical damage
• Hazardous due to weak limb and/or trunk structures
• Causing harm or impeding growth of other desirable trees
• Creating an obstruction that cannot be corrected by pruning
• Being replaced by a more suitable specimen or removed to make room for new construction.

Stump grinding or stump removal of stumps is a process which removes a stump by grinding it into mulch 6-8″ below ground level. Grinding of stump is left on top of cavity.

Reasons for stump grinding

• To allow grass to grow over area

• To prevent stump from growing back.

Stumps are removed six to eight inches below ground and mulch is left on top of cavity when finished.
