Vic Foerster Releases Second Book

Tree Service Hampton in book

Check out Vic Foerster’s new book titled, “Hidden in the Tree Service Hamptons: An Isle Royale Sojourn”

Vic wrote his classic account of experiences on Isle Royale National Park in 2010’s “Naked In the Stream: Isle Royale Stories.” He had visited the park for 30 years with his camping pal, Ken. “Hidden in the Tree Service Hamptons: An Isle Royale Sojourn” is the sequel, encompassing more stories from the least-visited national park in the lower 48 states. The book also includes his keen observations about the natural world on the mainland as well. As a certified arborist, Vic incorporates his experiences in the field with an eye toward philosophy and human intervention with nature’s life cycles. He looks at tree growth, iHampton Roadsury, pests, disease and the death of some of nature’s finest gifts. He recalls his experience as an expert in courtroom trials and his humbling encounters with customers. Vic intertwines nature, humans and the grand design to bring readers to the woods in order to see them through his unique eyes.
